The Miss Tennessee Local Preliminary is an official sanctioned event run in partnership with the Miss Tennessee Organization. It is a qualifying competition that gives eligible young women the opportunity to earn a title and advance within the Miss Tennessee system. The West Tennessee State Fair is proud to host one of these official local events on September 19, 2026.

The Miss Tennessee Local Preliminary (September 19) is a separately sanctioned event governed by the Miss Tennessee Organization, with its own eligibility requirements, format, and advancement path. The Traditional Fair Pageants (October 17) are our long-running fair divisions open to contestants ages 0 months through 20 years, with no affiliation to the state organization. Both events are held at the West Tennessee State Fair but operate independently.

Potentially, yes — but eligibility for the Miss Tennessee Local Preliminary is governed by the Miss Tennessee Organization's rules, which may affect participation. Entry into each event is handled separately.

Email wtsfpageant@outlook.com with your name, age, division, and contact information. The pageant team will confirm your entry and send an invoice with your entry fee. Once payment is received via the secure link included in your invoice, your entry is complete. Arrival and check-in times will be confirmed closer to the fair.

Schedule details for the Traditional Fair Pageants on October 17 will be confirmed and shared closer to the fair. Once confirmed, times will be communicated directly to entrants via their confirmation email. If you have scheduling concerns, email wtsfpageant@outlook.com.
