Welcome to the 2026 Fair
Everything you need to know before you arrive — from admission and parking to what to expect once you're inside.
Section 1
We're glad you're joining us. The West Tennessee State Fair has been a cherished tradition in Henderson and Chester County for generations — and every October, it brings together something for everyone.
Whether you're coming for the livestock shows, the pageants, the carnival rides, the homemade pies in the exhibit hall, or just a great evening out with your family, this guide is here to help you make the most of your first visit.
The 2026 West Tennessee State Fair runs October 15–24 at the West Tennessee State Fairgrounds in Henderson, Tennessee. We hope to see you there.

Check the schedule
Review the daily schedule so you know what's happening on the day you plan to attend.
Review admission pricing
Most days are $5 for all ages. Oct 16 & 17 (Bulls & Barrels nights) are $10 for ages over 10 and $5 for ages 4–10. Oct 20 (Junior Rodeo Night) is $5 for all ages. See the full day-by-day price guide.
Know the hours
Mon–Fri: 5:00 PM until close · Saturday: 11:00 AM until close · Sunday: 1:00 PM until close. The Fair does not publish a specific closing time.
Check the weather
West Tennessee Octobers can be warm or cool. Check the forecast and dress in comfortable layers.
Save the address
575 Fourth Street, Henderson, TN 38340. Allow extra time for travel and parking, especially on opening day and special event nights.

From Memphis
Roughly 90 miles northeast via I-40 E and US-45 N.
From Jackson
Roughly 30 miles east via US-70 E.
Section 4
Free Parking — Always
Parking at the fairgrounds is free every day of the fair.
There are no parking fees.
Plan for extra time
On opening day and rodeo evenings (Oct 16 and 17), arrival traffic may be heavier than usual. Allow a few extra minutes for parking and walking to the gates.
Section 5
The West Tennessee State Fair is not currently offering online ticket sales. Admission is purchased at the gate on the day of your visit.
Standard Days — $5
Most days of the fair are $5 for all ages at the gate. Children under 3 are always free.
Bulls & Barrels Nights (Oct 16 & 17)
Oct 16 & 17 are priced by age — ages over 10: $10, ages 4–10: $5. Performances start at 7:00 PM. Junior Rodeo (Oct 20) is $5 for all ages.
Gate Season Pass — $25
A $25 Gate Season Pass covers standard-day admission for the entire 10-day run of the fair (Oct 15–24). Oct 16 and Oct 17 (Bulls & Barrels nights) are not included and require separate admission. Available at the gate.
Ride Armbands
Unlimited-ride armbands are $35 every day, sold separately from gate admission. On Saturdays, rides run two sessions — daytime (until 4 PM) and evening (5 PM–Close). A new armband is required for the evening session. Rides temporarily close 4–5 PM between sessions. Purchase at the gate.
Gate admission accepts Cash or Card. Contact us with specific questions.

Bulls & Barrels – Buckin’ by Faith (Oct 16 & 17 at 7 PM), Junior Rodeo (Oct 20 at 7 PM), Burger Grill-Off (Oct 15 at 4 PM), WTSF Got Talent (Adult: Oct 23 at 5:30 PM · Kids & Youth: Oct 24 at 5:30 PM), and Jimmy Stanford Memorial Antique Tractor Show (Oct 24 — final day of the Fair, presented by Chester County FFA).

The West Tennessee State Fair is generally planned to operate during normal seasonal weather. October in West Tennessee can bring warm afternoons, cool evenings, or the occasional shower.
Weather Policy
Individual events, outdoor activities, rides, or schedules may be delayed, relocated, or adjusted when weather conditions create safety concerns. Safety decisions may be made by fair management, event officials, or ride operators. Visitors should check the official website and social media channels for the latest updates before traveling.
