General Rules
1. 2019 theme is 164 Years Tennessee Proud. A special commemorative ribbon will be awarded to each exhibitor following the fair.
2. Awards and premiums for the 2019 winners will be First, Second, and Third place in each lot, King and Queen of the Kitchen, Clover Kitchen (youth), Best of Show, Best Cake Baker, Best Pie Baker, Largest Pumpkin, and Largest Watermelon.
3. All exhibits must be made by the exhibitor. Cut flowers, crops, potted plants, fruits and vegetables must be grown by the exhibitor.
4. All items must not have been exhibited before at the West Tennessee State Fair.
5. Exhibitors may only enter one item in each lot. 
6. The committee reserves the right to refuse to accept any exhibit considered unsuitable for the fair.
7. Two divisions include;
     a. Youth division 2 – 19 year olds *Youth may enter Adult Division if no category is offered in Youth Department.
     b. Adult division for ages 20 and above.
8. Exhibitors are restricted from the exhibit area during judging.
9. All articles exhibited at owner’s risk, but reasonable precautions will be taken for the protection of your exhibits.
10. Exhibits picked up before the release time, will forfeit prize money. Prize money will not be released to anyone except whose name in on the envelope. Photo ID is required for all releases. Minors without a photo ID need to have an adult with ID present. Pickup will be Monday, September 16, 1pm-6pm.

5. Decorated cakes will be judged on decoration only. Dummy bases may be used.
6. Standard size pies will be required. They should be entered in zip-lock bags. No pies will be accepted in returnable dishes. Please use throw away tins.

 Eggs Rules

  1. Only one exhibit in each lot can be entered.
  2. Entries are 3 eggs for lots 1-5, and 1 egg for lots 6-8.
  3. All exhibits must be claimed on Sunday, September 16, 2018 between 6:00pm-8:00pm or they will be disposed of by the Fair Association.
  4. Entries must be from hens raised by the person entering eggs.
  5. Judging will be on cleanliness, egg shape, shell texture, & ridges.
