Pageants at the West TN State Fair

MISS FAIREST OF THE FAIR

Tuesday, September 13, 2011 - 8:00 p.m.
This contest is held in conjunction with Tennessee's "Fairest of the Fair" Contest, which is sponsored by the Tennessee Association of Fairs. The West Tennessee State Fair will sponsor this contest.
RULES
1.Contestant must have reached her 16th birthday but not her 21st birthday on or before December 31, 2011.
2. Contestant must be a resident of West Tennessee and may not represent more than one fair in any given year.
3. Contestant must be single, never married, and have no children.
4. Contestants will model in formal wear and attire must be floor length.
5. Contestants will be judged on beauty and poise (75%), and personality (25%).
6. Entries must be received on or before September 8, 2011. Entries received after this date will be subject to an additional $10.00 late entry fee. No entries will be accepted on September 13, 2011.
7. Contestants will be entered by mailing an entry fee of $25.00 and entry form to Beauty Pageants, West Tennessee State Fair, P.O. Box 1404, Jackson, TN 38302. Entry form
8. Contest will be held at the Main Exhibit Hall at the Fairgrounds Park at 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 13, 2011. All contestants will report to the Fairgrounds by 7:30 p.m. There will be no rehearsal prior to the pageant.
9. Contest will consist of a winner and four additional places. 'Fairest of the Fair' for 2011 will be invited to be present at all events at the West Tennessee State Fair the remaining days of fair week, and will be the official fair hostess.
10. West Tennessee State Fair's 'Fairest of the Fair' will be a representative at Tennessee's 'Fairest of the Fair' contest in Nashville. In January, 2012, The West Tennessee State Fair will pay the actual expenses of the winner and a chaperone to the state pageant.
11. No application will be accepted for entry if the contestant has ever competed in the State Fair Pageant.
12. Videoing will not be allowed during the pageant.

MISS TEEN FAIREST OF THE FAIR
Wednesday, September 14, 2011 - 8:00 p.m.
RULES
1. Contestant must be a resident of West Tennessee.
2. Contest will be for girls ages 13 to 15. Birthday must coincide with date of pageant.
3. Dress will consist of pageant dresses.
4. Contest will be entered by mailing an entry fee of $25.00 to: West Tennessee State Fair, P.O. Box 1404, Jackson, TN 38302. Entry form.
5. Entries must be received on or before September 9, 2011. Entries received after this date will be subject to an additional $10.00 entry fee. No entries will be accepted on September 14, 2011.
*** NO ENTRIES WILL BE ACCEPTED AT THE DOOR. ***
6. All pageants will be held in the air conditioned Main Exhibit Building at the Fairgrounds Park. Contestants will be required to be at the Fairgrounds 30 minutes before starting time.
7. Judging will be based on attractiveness, poise, and personality. The decision of the judges is final. There will be a queen and four alternates.
8. Each contestant must be accompanied by a parent or guardian, and only one person is allowed backstage with the contestant.
9. Videoing will not be allowed during the pageant.

MISS JUNIOR FAIREST OF THE FAIR
Wednesday, September 14, 2010 - 7:00 p.m.
RULES
1. Contestant must be a resident of West Tennessee.
2. Contest will be for girls ages 10 to 12. Birthday must coincide with date of pageant.
3. Dress will consist of pageant dresses.
4. Contest can be entered by mailing an entry fee of $25.00 to: West Tennessee State Fair, P.O. Box 1404, Jackson, TN 38302. Entry form.
5. Entries must be received on or before September 9, 2011. Entries received after this date will be subject to an additional $10.00 entry fee. No entries will be accepted on September 14, 2011.

2. Contest will be for girls ages 6 to 9. Birthday must coincide with date of pageant.
3. Attire will be Sunday or Pageant dresses.
4. Contest can be entered by mailing an entry fee of $25.00 to: West Tennessee State Fair,
P.O. Box 1404, Jackson, TN 38302. Entry form.
5. Entries must be received on or before September 10, 2011. Entries received after this date will be subject to an additional $10.00 entry fee. No entries will be accepted on September 15, 2011.

3. Attire will be pageant dresses or Sunday dresses.

MISS BABY FAIREST OF THE FAIR
Saturday, September 17, 2011 - 2:00 p.m.
RULES
1. Contestant must be a resident of West Tennessee.
2. Contest will be for baby girls ages 0 months to 35 months. Birthday must coincide with date of pageant. Age in months at date of pageant must be put on entry form.
3. Age brackets for baby girls: 0-6 months; 7-15 months; 16-24 months, and 25-35 months. Contestant should be at Fairgrounds by 1:30 p.m.
4. Attire will be Sunday dresses or pageant dresses.
5. Contest can be entered by mailing an entry fee of $25.00 to: West Tennessee State Fair, P.O. Box 1404, Jackson, TN 38302. Entry form.
6. . Entries must be received on or before September 12, 2011. Entries received after this date will be subject to an additional $10.00 entry fee. No entries will be accepted on September 17, 2011.
